This gorgeous 1-off Ferrari 458 Speciale was just acquired by my local Porsche/BMW/Mercedes/Volvo dealer. The 458 Speciale’s base price was $288,000. This one had an MSRP of over $471,000, meaning it has almost $200,000 in options. It is the only Speciale with side stripes. The paint is Bianco Fuji Opaco, or matte metallic white, with matching wheels and interior tri . It’s an absolutely stunning spec, and far different than the typical resale red of most Ferraris.

It’s a side stripe delete away from being perfect.

I always thought one-off vehicles would have something more special, or especiale in this case, besides the paint.

Generally it more means a special order or if there is no similar car. The particular buyer of this car had it special ordered as a Ferrari VIP client, allowing him to put on options that aren’t available for anyone else.
